La Filmoteca Española celebra el centenario de Checoslovaquia con diez grandes películas

En conmemoración del centenario de la fundación de Checoslovaquia en 1918, el Cine Doré ofrece del 6 al 29 de septiembre diez películas de varios géneros y épocas que muestra diferentes joyas, tanto del cine checoslovaco, como del cine checo y eslovaco por separado, o coproducciones hechas tras la separación de ambos países en 1993, después del conocido como “Divorcio de Terciopelo”. Muchas de estas películas son auténticos clásicos que ocupan un lugar propio en la memoria colectiva de ambos países, pero que, sin embargo, en España han sido rara vez proyectadas en su mayor parte, cuando no se trata de largometrajes absolutamente inéditos. Hay dos películas que fueron nominadas a los Oscar, documentales, un clásico contemporáneo del cine de animación, varias comedias y hasta una de las primeras películas eróticas de la historia del cine mundial. Son obras de dos países que comparten una mirada y un sentir, a menudo acompañadas del particular y sutil sentido del humor propio de estas dos naciones centroeuropeas. El ciclo está organizado por la Filmoteca Española, la Embajada de la República Checa en España, el Centro Checo de Madrid y la Embajada de Eslovaquia en España.
